Purpose:
As a Trailer Shop Technician your mission would be to
furnish quality major and minor in-house repairs to the Reefer fleet in a timely and efficient manner while complying with Marten Transport, Ltd. policy and procedure.

Your primary responsibilities as a Trailer Shop Technician would be as follows:
1. Maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all equipment.
2. Maintain proficiency in rebuilding components on equipment.
3. Effectively and efficiently perform preventive maintenance inspections.
4. Complete all Repair Orders in a timely manner ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit.
5. Attend all company-training classes, then retain and demonstrate what was instructed.
6. Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area.
7. Perform additional duties and special projects as needed or directed.

Necessary qualifications are:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Must possess mechanical skills and aptitude
3. Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long hours
