PURPOSE:
To maintain department data base records and perform general clerical support for department in order to improve bottom line exposures related to department responsibilities.
RESPONSBIBLILITES:
1. Receive majority of incoming calls and direct to appropriate person or department.
2. Compiles, copies, sorts, scans and files claims related documents.
3. Complete all check requests and monthly invoices.
4. Take initial reports.
5. Maintain data base including updating records and running reports.
6. Reviews files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
7. Special projects as assigned.
8. Other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Interface with driver, department staff and outside sources
ABILITIES/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Word, Excel, computer operations, ability to follow directions, ability to meet deadlines, careful attention to detail
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
Associate Degree in Administrative Assistance - Secretarial or equivalent experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for long periods of time, standing for long periods of time, light to moderate lifting (up to 30 pounds), dexterity, listening/hearing skills, speaking/verbal skills, standing, stooping and bending.
